Deposit

Security deposit is the amount blocked on the credit card by pre – authorization and depends on the franchise amount for each vehicle group. Once the preauthorization is released/ unblocked upon closing the rental agreement, it is no longer available for charge, and should be accessible on your account within days, depending on the bank.
